                               RESOLUTION NO. 19085
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR CERTAIN
                   PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM THE CITY OF
                   CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE TO THE RIVERCITY
                   COMPANY FOR USE IN THE ROSS'S LANDING PLAZA
                   PARK AREA AND THE TENNESSEE AQUARIUM AND
                   FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
                   DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO CONSUMMATE SAID
                   TRANSACTION.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and hereby is 
authorized
       to execute a quitclaim deed from the City of Chattanooga,
       Tennessee to the RiverCity Company for property more particularly 

       described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
       by reference to be used in connection with the construction of 
the
       Ross's Landing Plaza area and the Tennessee Aquarium, a portion 
of
       said property to be reconveyed at a later date to the City of
       Chattanooga and Hamilton County along with other property for use 

       in the Ross's Landing Plaza area.
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor be and is hereby
       authorized to execute all documents necessary to consummate the
       aforementioned transaction.
